Adam is a regular contributor to Religion in American History: A Group Blog on Religion in American Culture and History. Currently, he is gathering research for two projects: one on the interwar partnership between the YMCA, the A.A.U., and the Olympics in the promotion of wrestling in America, and another on the early/mid-19th century transatlantic history of Muscular Christianity. Adam’s first book, Christian Fighters and the Rise of Mixed Martial Arts in America, 1900-2017, is being revised for resubmission to the University of Chicago Press.
