Andrew D. Linden

qnUA9Hu5_400x400Andrew D. Linden (Andy) is a sport historian and assistant professor of sport studies at the California State University, Northridge. He researches the intersections between sport and social politics, with a focus on social movements of the twentieth century. He earned his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University in the History and Philosophy of Sport (2016), and his B.A. in History (2010) and his M.A. in Sport Humanities (2012) from Ohio State University. He is the Communications Coordinator for the Journal of Sport History and the Communications Officer for the North American Society for Sport History. His work has been published in the Journal of Sport History, the Journal of Sport and Social Issues, The International Journal of the History of Sport, Sport History Review, and Feminist Media Studies.
